Marjan de Smit

- Marjan de Smit studeerde Algemene sociale wetenschappen aan de Universiteit Utrecht en werkt sinds 1996 voor de GGD Zeeland. Als beleidsadviseur voor de openbare geestelijke gezondheidszorg heeft ze in nauwe samenwerking met de Zeeuwse gemeenten en zorgaanbieders projecten geïnitieerd en uitgevoerd die zijn gericht op preventie en monitoring van geestelijke gezondheidsproblemen en de organisatie van vangnetzorg. In 2017 heeft Marjan haar focus verlegd naar kennisontwikkeling. Deelname aan de minor Fit for the Future zorgde naast kennis over systeemtheoretische benaderingen ook voor de nodige handvatten om bij complexe, maatschappelijke vraagstukken een aanpak te ontwikkelen. Op dit moment werkt Marjan als onderzoeker en projectleider, voor zowel de GGD als de onderzoeksgroep EVM in verschillende Europese projecten: I-KNOW-HOW, HAIRE en EMPOWERCARE. Binnen deze projecten en met de Solidarity University als vaste partner werkt ze aan thema’s als sociale ongelijkheid, participatie en empowerment en altijd vanuit de grondbeginselen van sociale innovatie. Marjan beschikt over de nodige expertise en competenties om producten en diensten in co-creatie met direct betrokkenen te ontwikkelen.
