Profiel:: PhD candidate researching the economic feasibility of seaweed cultivation in North-West Europe. I work in the Business Economics group of Wageningen University & Research and am part of the SEASEEDS consortium. I study what type of seaweed systems are optimal for North-West Europe (see link below), the expected profitability of these farms, the effect of global seaweed prices and commodity prices on European seaweed prices, and business models/consumer perception of seaweed products.
