- Pascalle Jacobs werkt sinds 1 oktober 2021 als onderzoekscoördinator en senior-onderzoeker bij de onderzoeksgroep Aquaculture in Delta Areas. Ze studeerde Management of Marine Ecosystems aan Wageningen Universiteit en promoveerde daar in 2015 op een onderzoek naar het effect van mosselzaadinvanginstallaties (mzi’s) op het plankton in de Waddenzee. Tijdens en na haar promotieonderzoek werkte ze voor WMR en NIOZ aan pelagische en benthische primaire productie, fytoplankton en verschillende soorten schelpdieren zoals mosselen, platte oesters en kokkels. Haar expertise ligt in de interactie tussen schelpdieren en microalgen, experimenteel onderzoek en ecologie.
