- Jean-Marie Buijs is associate lector bij onderzoeksgroep Resilient Deltas. Hij werkt bij de HZ sinds 2013. Jean-Marie geeft ook les in Delta Management en toegepast onderzoek. Binnen de onderzoeksgroep richt hij zich voornamelijk op de relatie tussen governance en de veerkracht van deltagemeenschappen. In het onderzoek past hij inzichten toe vanuit zijn promotieonderzoek in openbaar bestuur dat hij deed aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. Bij Resilient Deltas brengt Jean-Marie niet alleen kennis over governance, maar ook expertise van zijn actieve betrokkenheid in de leefbaarheid van lokale gemeenschappen in.
