- Anton studeerde in 1985 af als fysiotherapeut en heeft zich via verschillende opleidingen en masters doorontwikkeld tot een expert op het terrein van (onderzoek in) sport, bewegen en gezondheid in het onderwijs. Zijn brede werkervaring neemt Anton mee: leerkracht in het primair onderwijs, opleidingsmanager van de Master Sport aan de Hogeschool Rotterdam en Sportkunde van HZ University of Applied Sciences. Anton vertegenwoordigt in de onderzoeksgroep Excellence and Innovation in Education de pijler sport, bewegen en gezondheid in het onderwijs in nauwe samenwerking met het lectoraat Healthy Region van de HZ. Met zijn onderzoek wil hij een bijdrage leveren het verbeteren van de gezondheid in de gehele onderwijskolom.
