Simon Witt

- Simon Witt is onderzoeker een projectleider van HZ Kenniscentrum Kusttoerisme. In zijn werk zoekt Simon de balans tussen natuur, toeristen, ondernemers, inwoners en overheden. Door ontwikkelingen in kaart te brengen en kennis te delen met de sector hoopt hij deze toekomstbestendig te maken. Hij doet veel onderzoek naar verantwoord ondernemen ten aanzien van duurzaam gebruik van energie, water en grondstoffen. Daarnaast onderzoekt hij de ervaring van toeristen én inwoners met betrekking tot de verwachte groei van toerisme. Het behoud en verbeteren van het kustmilieu voor toekomstige generaties door middel van toekomstgericht overheidsbeleid staat daarbij centraal.
