What is the Green Office?

The GO is a student-driven organisation committed to sustainability within and around HZ University of Applied Sciences. We organise events and work on projects that help towards a greener, more conscious university. Think of the HZ Garden in Vlissingen where we work every Thursday, the clean-ups that take place every Wednesdsay around HZ Middelburg, or other fun activities such as film screenings, bike rides, cooking workshops etc.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for students who enjoy taking initiative and working together on sustainable ideas. Depending on your interests, you can take on one role or a combination of roles.

Open roles:

Open rules include:

  • Social Media & Communication: you tell our story online.
  • Co-chair(s): you are the face of GO at events and collaborations.
  • Secretary: you help with structure, overview, and organisation.
  • Project leader: you are responsible for implementation in your project.

Do you have any other ideas or would you like to combine multiple tasks? That's possible!

Expectations:

What do we expect from you?

  • Intrinsic motivation for sustainability;
  • Proactive attitude and sense of responsibility;
  • Willing to contribute an average of 10 hours per month.
