Regeneration Festival
This festival goes beyond sustainability. It’s about regeneration — restoring nature, reimagining systems, and reigniting communities with purpose and action. It’s about turning climate anxiety into climate action, and transforming innovation into real impact.
Through powerful talks, hands-on workshops, music, art, and immersive experiences, Regeneration Festival creates a space where inspiration becomes collaboration — and collaboration becomes change. This is more than an event.
It’s a movement powered by the next generation.event

Regeneration café
🌱 The first Regeneration Café invites you into an open and interactive space where we explore what regeneration really means—and how it connects to your own journey as a student and professional. Together, we’ll link the principles of regeneration to the Inner Development Goals (IDGs), focusing on personal growth, reflection, and new perspectives. Expect an inspiring session that sparks curiosity, deepens understanding, and helps you connect these ideas to your projects and future practice.

Guest lecture Group Model Building
If you want to understand complex problems, start by mapping them together. 🧩
In this guest lecture on Group Model Building, our colleague Sybren from the Applied Research Centre of HZ will introduce you to this powerful research method. Group Model Building is a collaborative approach that brings stakeholders around the table to visualize challenges, identify connections, and uncover the root causes of pressing issues. Instead of jumping to quick solutions, this method helps create a shared understanding of the system at play—making it easier to design strategies that work in the real world. Join this session to experience how collective thinking can turn complexity into clarity.

Workshop Regeneration
If you want to change the world, start with yourself. 🌍
The Regeneration Workshop invites you to take a step beyond sustainability and explore how we can actively restore, renew, and create thriving systems for both people and planet. Instead of only reducing harm, regeneration is about giving back more than we take—whether in nature, in communities, or in the way we work and live. During this interactive session, you will discover inspiring principles of regenerative thinking and experience hands-on activities that show how small actions can spark bigger change. Together, we’ll reflect on how each of us can contribute to a future that is not just sustainable, but truly flourishing.
